MIO Compadres Lyrical Inspirations Blog Hop

Welcome back.



Today we are celebrating the My Inky Oasis Blog Hop. The theme this month is to create a project using music or lyrics.

I created 2 cards for this hop.

Card 1,  I used a song from my child hood that my grandpa used to sing to me. You Are My Sunshine. I started with a yellow card base, I then used a scallop die and die cut a blue piece of card stock. I started with a white panel to color on, using  my Pan Pastels with a yellow behind the sun land a blue behind the clouds. I then popped up the shapes back in the die cut area. I white embossed a sentiment on black card stock and popped with foam tape. I finished with sequins.

Card 2, is inspired by sheet music, I thought the play on words would be fun. I black heat embossed the music note and fussy cut it out. I also black heat embossed the background stamp of sheet music on a white panel of card stock.  I layered it on black card stock, and glued to a white card base. I popped up music note with foam tape. I also white embossed a sentiment on black card stock banner.
